Leg Hair Removal for Men

One of the more common questions I get asked is if a guy should shave or wax their legs before wearing pantyhose. This is a topic I have been itching to write about. No pun intended.

As a male, if you wear any nylons, you should always have your legs hairs removed. If you want the full luxury experience of wearing nylons, you should always shave or wax your legs. In the past, I used to wear pantyhose without waxing my legs, and that created a gritty feeling. Trust me when I say that when you wear nylons with shaved legs, the smoothness itself is very arousing. Not only that but if you have a partner, they will appreciate it more, making their experience more enjoyable.

I'm very fortunate that I go to an esthetician only for males in San Francisco every two months. It is expensive, but I made it a part of my living expense, just like if you were to go grocery shopping regularly. It's owned and operated by a male esthetician, which I'll explain why that's important for me.

Now some of you might not be fortunate to have an esthetician just for men in your area. There are tons of salons that offer waxing services for women that are more than willing to provide this service for men. However, for me, it is a very personal and intimate experience. But some of you might be okay with going to a female esthetician.

Shaving

If you can't go to an esthetician, shaving is a much cheaper option. I shaved my legs a few times in my life, and it was a long and tedious experience. Shaving your legs can be difficult because there are difficult places to reach, such as the back of the legs.

The first thing I recommend when shaving your legs is to exfoliate them in the shower with sea salt. The reason for doing this is to remove dead skin and help lift the trapped hair. If you are going to shave your legs, don't use razors that were made for a woman, such as the Venus razor. From my experience, you will get a much closer shave when using the Gillette Fusion. Not just that, but they're much cheaper than women's razors.

Because men's razors were made to shave dense facial hair, the angles of the blades are higher. Also, the blades are much closer to each other, designed to cut through thick facial hair. Waxing

As previously mentioned, if you're going to wax, make sure and exfoliate your legs. Waxing is my personal preference when removing leg hairs. The reason is that waxing removes the hair from the root or follicle. And because you're removing the hair from the root, you can go weeks without the hair growing back, whereas when you shave, the hair can grow back within days.

If you never waxed before, it will be a painful experience. It will also be a messy process, but it does get easier, and you get used to the pain the more you wax yourself.
